Liminal Program

Liminal is an evidence-based leadership and workplace culture program designed to strengthen inclusive leadership, cultural capability and psychologically safe workplaces across the mining industry. Drawing on neuroscience, behavioural science and First Nations knowledge systems, the program equips leaders and teams with practical skills to foster respectful, inclusive and high-performing workplaces.

The program comprises two complementary leadership streams:

  • Inclusive Leaders/Supervisor Program – a 3-day program elevating the skills of mining industry supervisor and leader to create inclusive teams, worksite, and organisations and that support psychosocial & psychological safety for all staff and a specific focus on cultural safety for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island staff. This element is targeted at hands on supervisors of diverse teams (particularly those managing and leading First Nations staff) and also key leaders in organisations who can influence and drive cultural change.
  • Leadership Program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander team members – a 9-day leadership program – split into 3 x 3 days over 6 months – this tried and tested program builds greater resilience, self-leadership, and general leadership skills in participants, leading to higher engagement with and retention within organisations.

Together, these programs support organisations to develop inclusive leaders, strengthen cultural capability and embed lasting improvements in workplace culture.
