The International Labour Organization, which established the World Day for Safety and Health at Work, has announced that the theme for this year’s observance is good psychosocial working environments: a pathway to thriving workers and strong organisations.
First marked in 2003, the World Day for Safety and Health at Work is a United Nations observance on 28 April that coincides with Workers’ Memorial Day, which originated in North America in the 1980s.
Before 28 April, the International Labour Organization will share campaign materials, including a global report and a presentation.
